The ministry of Philip the evangelist in the city of Samaria was one... [of the] acts of the apostles in which the Holy Ghost continued Jesus' work through the first century's Church. At the beginning of the third millennium, Joey Perez's biography is another chapter to be added to the acts of the apostles. Pastor Joey Perez is one of the ministry gifts that our Lord has given to the Church. First of all, he is an urban evangelist, ready to preach the Gospel to every creature, but he is very effective among the drug addicts, alcoholics, gangs, law offenders, and live-controlling problems.

We (my wife Maria and I) were called to plant a church in the city of Las Piedras, Puerto Rico. We decided to go in our first week of community outreach to call out the members of The Rock Christian Center. Since we needed laborers to help us during this process, I went to the Assemblies of God's Bible college in Bayamon for them. I was rejoicing in the Lord because the director, Reverend Carlos Osorio, had selected three of the director's office, I heard from the next room a voice that cried aloud and sounded like a trumpet.

I stopped and told the director, "I want to have that man in Las Piedras." That voice like a trumpet is Joey Perez.

Joey Perez's story is an evangelistic message. You

will share his tears as you read the dark environment of gangs, drugs, violence, and crime in which he was raised, but you will rejoice because where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. He was raised from the dust, and he is seated with the princes of his people. As a child of Abraham, he was called to be blessed and to be a blessing to many cities and many nations.

I have seen Joey Perez growing up in the Lord. He has been blessed with Damaris, a virtuous wife, their beautiful daughters Christine and Ivellise. They are the founders of Worldwide Evangelistic Ministries, establishing two rehabilitation centers for men and women, and have planted a powerful church in the city of Philadelphia. I praise our Lord for Pastors Joey and Damaris because I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

By reading this book, if you are unsaved, you will be reproved of sin and will receive the Gospel, which is the power of God for salvation; if you are a Christian, the Holy Ghost will give you a strong anointing to reach out to every creature in your community.
